We will travel from Kaiserslautern, Germany to Lucerne, Switzerland and spend two nights in what is considered Switzerland's most beautiful city.  Upon arrival in Lucerne, the city will be in full carnival mode with plenty of parades, costumes, and festivities that are truly unique to Lucerne. The following day the city will be back to normal where can tour the "Altstadt" and enjoy the wonderful sites of the city, minus the crowds of carnival goers. Shopping in the old town is also highly recommended. We will also ascend to the top of Mt. Pilatus during our stay in Lucerne. Mt. Pilatus is visible from most locations so we will simply look up to see when the best time to ascend will be. The itinerary is left open so you can discover what you want to do when you want to do it. All of this with a private guide to help lead the way!
